Accessibility Statement for BrightHR

This accessibility statement applies to our websites (BrightHR.com), web apps (app.brighthr.com, app.brightsafe.com), and mobile apps (BrightHR, BrightSafeOnTheGo, Blip,PoP, BrightAdvice). BrightHR is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for as many users as possible, aligning with the European Accessibility Act (EAA), which affects our websites and apps within the European Union as of June 2025.

We aim to make our digital platforms accessible by:

  • Allowing users to change colours, contrast levels, and fonts using browser or device settings.

  • Supporting zoom capabilities up to 400% without content spilling off the screen

  • Facilitating keyboard navigation and use of speech recognition software

  • Ensuring compatibility with screen readers, including the latest versions of JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver

We have also simplified our content to ensure clarity and ease of understanding.

AbilityNet provides advice on making devices easier to use for individuals with disabilities.

Compliance Status

In this statement, we disclose our level of compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 AA.

Currently, our web-based software (including Blip for web) is partially compliant: users can complete essential tasks, like clocking in, with a screen reader and keyboard. Other parts of our web software have interactive elements such as buttons and forms and may not be fully operable using a keyboard or screen readers, which we are working to improve.

Our mobile apps are not yet fully compliant but offer partial support. Due to the variety of screen reader software available for Android and iOS, experiences Company Confidential may vary. We have conducted testing using VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android).

Colour contrast: Certain text and background combinations may not meet the minimum contrast requirements for users with visual impairments which we are working to improve.

Content not within scope
